Meet Lisa

Lisa is running because Yukoners are ready for a change. We can’t wait for the Liberals to act on climate change, on reconciliation and housing. As our MP, Lisa will make sure Yukoners’ voices are heard loud and clear Ottawa.

Lisa has dedicated her career to labour and human rights activism. As a president of her union local, a long-time shop steward, and a national level committee member with PSAC\YEU, Lisa knows what it’s like to be at the decision table and to fight for working people.

Lisa is a long-time Yukoner and active in our community especially with Queer Yukon and Pride, as well as a former board member at Blood Ties Four Directions.

Lisa, together with her wife and two dogs, lives on the traditional territory of the Tagish Kwáan, Carcross Tagish First Nation, and Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Táan Kwäch´än (Marsh Lake, Yukon).

Lisa enjoys spending her free time camping and getting out in the mountains. This summer when she was protecting her home from flooding, she was deeply moved by how many Yukoners came to help her community.

Lisa currently works as a policy analyst for Health and Social Services in the Yukon Government. She is on leave to run in this election.
